Presenter: Doug Sloss
Fee: $75
Duration: 3 Hours
Requirements: A laptop with Photoshop CS2 or CS3

Join Scuba Diving Australasia field editor Doug Sloss for an informative and fun workshop about Lightroom, Adobe’s incredible image management and editing software program.  With Lightroom you’ll learn how to organize, manage, process, and show off your images in a fast and effective manner.   This course covers the essentials needed to get started using Lightroom and demonstrates how to effectively integrate this powerful program into your digital workflow.  Students learn how to import and organize their images, quickly identify “keepers” from a shoot and learn how to take advantage of Lightroom’s powerfully intuitive Raw converter that helps underwater and topside photographers create the best images possible.  After the “developing” stage, course attendees learn the techniques for sharing their work with others by creating slideshows and web galleries.  Bring your own images or use the ones provided by Doug and kick your workflow into high gear!

This course is designed for anyone with a basic knowledge of Photoshop and digital photography.  Although Doug has specific workflow recommendations to manage and process your images more quickly, you’ll leave with the knowledge you need to make your own.
